Precision Packaging Components began operations in May of 2008. With 20 years of management experience, I decided in May of 2008 to fulfill a lifelong dream and start my own company. In 2008 the world was experiencing a major financial crisis. Businesses were closing and people were losing jobs all over the world. To most people this didn’t seem like the best time for me to quit a good paying job as the Vice President of Operations with a stable company to start a new company, but that is exactly what I did.
I leased a 3000 S.F. building with no equipment, no customers, and no employees. All I had was manufacturing experience, a vision, and the determination to succeed. I was the sales team, production worker, truck driver, maintenance person, office manager, and janitor for the first two years. There was no pay and no company benefits for the first two years, but there was a lot of work.
